UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball loses third straight

WEST BEND – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team dropped its third-straight game, losing 49-39 at UW-Washington County on Saturday.

The Marauders (1-3 overall and Wisconsin Collegiate Conference) were forced to play with just five players, but kept it close.

Cinnamin Harwood had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Emily Shipman added 10 points, and Courtney Schmidt had seven points and 16 rebounds for UW-Marshfield.

The Marauders return to action Monday at home against UW-Marathon County.
