Tomah pulls away to beat Stratford girls basketball

TOMAH – Stratford was held to just three made baskets in the second half and dropped a nonconference girls basketball game to Tomah 49-29 on Tuesday at Tomah High School.

Tomah (4-0) led 22-19 at halftime, but the Tigers (1-1) were outscored 27-10 in the second half as they weren’t able to get their offense going.

Chelsey Gliniecki had 12 points, 10 in the first half, for Stratford. No other player scored more than four points for the Tigers.

Stratford plays at Rib Lake on Thursday.
