Auburndale girls basketball knocks off Adams-Friendship

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team took control from the opening tip and rolled to a 48-32 victory over Adams-Friendship on Tuesday at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale cruised out to a 30-10 lead by halftime and were able to maintain a big lead the rest of the way.

Isabelle Hilber scored 13 points, and Marissa Ponshock added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Apaches, who are now 3-0.

Auburndale plays another nonconference game at Athens on Thursday.
