Colby sends Stratford girls basketball to third-straight loss

STRATFORD – Colby outscored Stratford by double digits in both halves and rolled to a 62-39 victory over the Tigers in a nonconference girls basketball game Friday night at Stratford High School.

Colby (2-2) led 30-19 at halftime and outscored Stratford (1-3) 32-20 in the second half, sending the Tigers was their third-straight loss.

Taya Nett had 10 points and Kaylee Hollatz added nine for Stratford.

Colby knocked down six 3-pointers and had four players scoring in double figures, led by Hailey Voelker’s 16.

Stratford returns to Marawood Conference South Division action Tuesday at Wausau Newman Catholic.
