Stratford boys basketball whips Rib Lake, improves to 3-0

RIB LAKE – Vaughn Breit led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points as the Stratford boys basketball team doubled up Rib Lake 56-28 in a nonconference game Friday night at Rib Lake High School.

Breit made 8 of 9 free throws and was the only Tiger to finish in double figures. He added six rebounds, three assists and five steals in the victory.

Stratford is now 3-0 this season, while Rib Lake drops to 2-1.

Eight other Stratford players added points, with Trent Heckel and Benjamin Barten each scoring nine.

Stratford hosts Loyal in a nonconference game Monday.
