Columbus Catholic girls basketball cruises past Northland Lutheran

MARSHFIELD – The Colmubus Catholic girls basketball team put up a season-high 43 first-half points and cruised past Northland Lutheran 68-40 in a nonconference matchup Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons led 43-27 by halftime and held Northland Lutheran (1-4) to just 13 points in the second half on their way to their fifth-straight victory.

Hailey Roehl had a season-high 16 points, as did Marissa Immerfall, and Morgan Albrecht scored 14 points for Columbus Catholic (5-1).

Columbus Catholic returns to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Friday at home against Owen-Withee.
