SPENCER – The Spencer boys basketball team came up a point short in a 54-53 loss to Owen-Withee on Thursday in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Spencer High School.

Spencer led by one at halftime before Owen-Withee was able to pull out the win at the end.

Jack Bezlyk had 19 points to lead Spencer (2-2, 1-2 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer plays at Gilman on Tuesday.
