Stratford boys basketball tops Owen-Withee at Bucks Prep Series in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE – Vaughn Breit and Benjamin Barten combined for 40 points to lift the Stratford boys basketball team to a 58-45 win over Owen-Withee on Saturday at the Bradley Center.

The game was part of the annual Milwaukee Bucks Prep Series.

Breit made 8 of 9 free throws and scored 21 points, while also grabbing 14 rebounds, for the Tigers. Barten added 19 points and 11 rebounds, making 9 of 13 shots from the field.

Teddy Redman added nine points, five rebounds and four steals in the win for Stratford (6-0).

Stratford returns to action Thursday with a nonconference home game against Prentice.
