EDGAR – Edgar held Spencer to just 35 percent shooting and held on for a 47-37 nonconference boys basketball victory on Tuesday at Edgar High School.

The Rockets (4-5) made just 15 of 43 shots from the field and committed 20 turnovers in the defeat.

Spencer’s top scorer Jack Bezlyk was held to five points before fouling out.

Kyle Brewster led Edgar (7-4) with 16 points.

Spencer returns to action Thursday at Colby.
