Columbus Catholic girls basketball cruises past Granton

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team held Granton to five points in the first half and rolled to a 45-21 victory in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus Catholic (10-5, 7-4 Cloverbelt East) pulled out to a 28-5 lead by halftime and played its reserves for much of the second half to cruise to the victory.

Marissa Immerfall had 12 points to lead the Dons, who had nine different players score in the victory.

Columbus Catholic hosts Elcho in a nonconference game Monday.
