Stratford girls basketball beats Abbotsford for fourth-straight win

STRATFORD – Blaire Lindner scored 17 points and had eight rebounds, and Chelsey Gliniecki added 14 points as the Stratford girls basketball team defeated Abbotsford 55-42 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.

Lindner was 6-for-10 from the field and 5-for-6 at the free throw line to lead the way for the Tigers, who improve to 9-6 overall and 8-3 in the Marawood Conference South Division after their fourth win in a row.

Taya Nett added 11 points, and Mariah Zawislan chipped in nine points and six rebounds for Stratford.

Stratford has a week off before hosting Wausau Newman Catholic on Jan. 26.
