Colby wraps up Cloverbelt East girls basketball title with win over Spencer

SPENCER – Colby wrapped up the Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball title with a 76-43 win over Spencer on Friday night at Spencer High School.

The Hornets rolled out to a 44-20 lead by halftime and held a double-digit lead the rest of the way.

Colby improves to 18-2 overall and 14-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Spencer falls to 2-19 and finishes its Cloverbelt East schedule with a 1-15 mark.

Lexi Baehr had 21 points for Spencer.

Spencer will finish its regular-season schedule Thursday with a Cloverbelt Conference crossover game.
