The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued with eight games on Sunday, March 4.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Success Realty downed Neva Jean Motel 83-66. Cain Trunkel had 34 points and Jay Fueher added 21 for Success. Chris Murphy led Neva Jean with 21 points.
*Oil Exchange & Auto Repair whipped Financial Strategies 83-43. Conner Staab had 18 points for Oil Exchange. Bryan Weichelt had 12 points to lead Financial Strategies.
*Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery had a league-high in points as it crushed Victory Apparel 100-54. Branson Witucki had 30 points and Jason Schoupe added 29 for Nutz/Stoney Acres. Kenny Pettit had 15 points for Victory Apparel.
*Smazal’s Hunters Choice toppled Kafka Foresty 86-70. Matt Karl had 34 points for Smazal’s. Shay Lehman scored 21 points for Kafka.
B Division
*Resource Recovery knocked off After Hours 67-50. Scott Schoupe led Resource with 23 points. Ryan Jacobi scored 14 for After Hours.
*Chaps & Friends cruised past Weiler’s C-Stores 82-54. Keith Clater had 29 points for Chaps. Danny Bargender scored 21 and Robert Rogers chipped in 20 for Weiler’s.
*Fairway Mortgage beat Stratford Sign Co. 56-44. Brad Weiler had 21 points for Fairway Mortgage. Brandon Kaiser scored 11 to lead Stratford Sign.
*Lob City edged LJ’s Sport Zone 60-53. Ben Sorbert topped Lob City with 17 points. Adam Reno and Matt Lang both scored 12 for LJ’s.
