SPENCER – Abbotsford/Colby scored nine times in the top of the first inning and went on to a 14-0 shutout of Spencer in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Spencer High School.

The Rockets were held to five hits, three from Reed Knecht.

JV Castillo drove in three runs and A.J. Brodhagen had a single, two doubles and scored twice for Abbotsford/Colby (10-5).

Spencer (5-7) will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Neillsville on Tuesday.
