PITTSVILLE – Auburndale bounced back from a loss to Edgar last week with a resounding 25-13, 25-14, 25-15, win over Pittsville on Tuesday in a Marawood Conference South Division volleyball match at Pittsville High School.
Nicole Nikolay had 16 kills and 11 digs, Kari Willfahrt had nine kills, Kelly Brokish led the Apaches’ defense with 16 digs and setter Kendra Kundinger had 34 assists.
Auburndale improves to 20-7 overall and 2-1 in the Marawood South. Pittsville is now 1-2 in the conference.
The Apaches play at Newman next Tuesday.
