Marshfield volleyball comes back to top Chippewa Falls

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team dropped the opening game of its nonconference match against Chippewa Falls, but roared back to post a 16-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-16 win on Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.

Tiffany Stargardt and Courtney Bauer each had 11 kills and Chelsea Akin added nine for the Tigers.

Mikala Sebastian and Miranda Forrest each had six blocks, Mary Wolff had 25 assists and Darian Molter had 20 digs and four aces for Marshfield. Stargardt had a team-high five aces.

Marshfield hosts Wausau West on Thursday in its final regular-season home match of the season.
