Marshfield Columbus Catholic had two boys and Spencer had one girl voted on to the 2011-12 All-Cloverbelt Conference East Division basketball teams.
Columbus Catholic seniors Tyler Derfus and Mike Iwanski were among the six players chosen to the boys all-conference first team. They join Augusta junior Joe Whalen, Gilman senior Lucas Lato, Greenwood senior Josh Harlander and Loyal junior Mason Froeba, who was named Player of the Year.
Spencer senior Steven Gilboy was a second-team selection and senior Sam Cattanach was an honorable mention pick. Columbus senior Brandon Nikolai also was an honorable mention choice.
Spencer junior Tara Matter was named to the six-person first team for the girls.
She joins player of the year Jennifer Lindner of Neillsville, Owen-Withee’s Alyssa Gordon and Bailey Karaba, Augusta’s Allie Nelson and Colby’s Sarah Gamillo.
Spencer senior guard Kyleigh Hebert and Columbus Catholic senior guard Elizabeth Manlick were second-team picks.
Spencer seniors Krystal Weier and Courtney Schulz were honorable mention choices.
