WINONA, Minn. – Katie Wolff, a 2009 graduate of Marshfield High School, recently completed her junior season on the Winona State University women’s basketball team.
Wolff played in 28 of 29 games this season for the Warriors, starting 22. She led the team in minutes played (841), assists (101), and steals (37), while finishing second in 3-pointers (39), third in scoring (8.6 points per game) and fourth in free-throw percentage (82.4 percent).
Wolff hit six 3-pointers and finished with 18 points in a 76-67 loss to the University of Mary (ND) in a first-round game of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament on Feb. 29. The Warriors finished the season with an 18-11 record and a 13-9 mark in the NSIC.
