Marshfield girls tennis ends up 1-2 at Green Bay Southwest Invite

GREEN BAY – Nadeen Lieberman, Lara Prebble and the doubles team of Olivia Haessly and Emily Seidel each won a pair of matches as the Marshfield girls tennis team finished 1-2 at the Green Bay Southwest Invitational on Saturday.

Marshfield lost to Green Bay Southwest 6-1, defeated Rhinelander 4-3, and lost to Sheboygan North 4-3.

Lieberman won at No. 1 singles against Southwest and Rhinelander, while Prebble, and the team of Haessly and Seidel won matches against Rhinelander and North at No. 3 singles.

Also winning for the Tigers against Rhinelander was the No. 1 doubles team of Cami Warner and Erin Ott, who rolled 6-0, 6-0.

The Tigers jump back into Wisconsin Valley Conference action Thursday at Wausau East.
