STRATFORD – Kizzy & Sue’s Bar & Grill won a pair of games, scoring 95 points in one game and 118 in the other, during Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League play on Sunday.
Aaron Linzmeier scored 24 points and Lee Follen had 22 in Kizzy & Sue’s 95-56 win over Victory Apparel. Neil Weiler topped all scorers with 36 points and Linzmeier had 22 in a 118-82 victory over Marshfield Country Club.
Mike Reimer had 21 points in Victory Apparel’s loss and Chris Klemke led MCC with 21 points in its loss to Kizzy & Sue’s.
Five of the other six games were decided by seven points or less.
*Rose Bowl Lanes edged Marawood Construction 88-83. Cain Trunkel had 29 points for Rose Bowl. Bryan Weichelt scored 27 points and Mike Kupfer had 21 for Marawood.
*Arby’s knocked off Dental Crafters by a bucket, 71-69. Ben Zalizniak had 30 points for Dental Crafters.
*Resource Recovery topped The Shack 65-58. Barry Messmann scored 23 points for Resource in the victory. Pat Johnson had a game-high 25 points for The Shack.
*Smazel’s Hunters Choice got by A&B Process Systems 79-76. Jimmy Flink had 24 points and Justin Schafer had 22 for Smazel’s. Paul Zarnke topped A&B with 30 points and Andy Bliven added 21.
*Jake Frombach had 31 points to lead The Shack II past USBancorp 78-75. Chris Newbury had 31 points for USBancorp.
*Davis Auto Sales thumped Country Wireless 96-55 behind 36 poitns from Dan Stelzer and 24 from Kyle Davis. Bowdie Krall had 21 for Country Wireless.
