RIVER FALLS – Paige Johnson, a 2013 Spencer High School graduate and former all-state player of the Marshfield girls hockey team, is a freshman on the University of Wisconsin-River Falls women’s hockey team.

Johnson has played in all 24 games this season for the Falcons, scoring two goals and dishing out 10 assists. Her assist total is tied for fourth on the team.

UW-River Falls is 17-4-3 overall and 7-2-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athtletic Conference, one point behind first-place UW-Stevens Point.

The Falcons wrap up their regular-season and conference schedule Saturday at UW-Eau Claire.

The WIAC O’Brien Cup will be held Feb. 28, March 1 and March 8.
