Point/Rapids shuts out Marshfield in WIAA girls hockey regional final

STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point/Wisconsin Rapids outshot Marshfield 34-14 and Emily Bubla had a shutout in goal as the Red Panthers beat Marshfield 3-0 in a WIAA regional final Friday night at KB Willett Arena.

Point/Rapids (12-9-3) will play at Central Wisconsin Storm on Tuesday at D.C. Everest’s Greenheck Arena in a sectional semifinal.

Marshfield ends its season with a 7-14 record.

Breanna Conrad, Amanda Milanowskia nd Kaylee Bruneau scored goals for Point/Rapids.

Marshfield was held to just seven shots over the final two periods as the Tigers were shut out for the sixth time this season.
