Marshfield’s Lexi Dupee and Katie Treankler each earned spots on the second team of the 2014 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Softball Team.
Dupee, a sophomore catcher, finished eighth in the conference with a .514 batting average (16 of 38), which included two home runs, nine RBIs, nine runs scored and five doubles.
Treankler, the Tigers’ senior shortstop, hit .333 (8 of 32) with three doubles, three RBIs and a team-high four walks in 12 conference games.
Senior infielder Jessi Lyon was the lone Marshfield player that earned honorable mention status.
Marshfield finished tied for fifth in the standings with a 4-8 record.
D.C. Everest pitcher Brooke Gajewski was named Player of the Year. She allowed just six earned runs in 65 innings, striking out 92 and compiling a 10-1 record.
