FOND DU LAC – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team won its season-opener Friday night, defeating UW-Fond du Lac 77-74 at the Fond du Lac Tournament.
The Marauders put up 46 points in the second half and held a 55-40 rebounding advantage in the victory.
On Saturday, the Marauders lost to the UW-Fond du Lac Alumni team 82-52.
The Marauders play their home opener Wednesday against UW-Sheboygan at 6 p.m.
