UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball drops road game at Fox Valley Tech

APPLETON – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County was held to 18 points in the second half and lost 57-52 at Fox Valley Technical College on Monday night in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup.

UW-Marshfield led 34-32 at halftime but struggled offensively in the second half and fell behind.

Katie Meacham had 14 points, Taylor Lynn added 12 and Paige Newman chipped in 11 for the Marauders (7-5).

UW-Marshfield/Wood County plays at UW-Fox Valley in Menasha on Wednesday.
