BERLIN – The Auburndale volleyball team went 4-1 to win the Berlin Invitational on Saturday at Berlin High School.
The Apaches beat Markesan 25-15, 25-22, and Shiocton 24-26, 25-21, 15-12, lost to Winneconne 25-20, 25-15, and beat Cambria-Friesland 25-14, 25-15, and Berlin 23-25, 25-20, 15-11, to win the tournament title.
Robyn Brokish and Taylor Gotz each had 31 kills, Cindy Jensen added 22 kills, Sydney Schmutzer had 88 assists and 29 digs, and Mackenzie Raab had 40 digs for the Apaches in their five matches.
Auburndale plays at Marathon in a Marawood Conference South Division match on Tuesday.
