Columbus Catholic boys basketball roughs up Colby

COLBY – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team put up a season-high in points as it crushed Colby 102-44 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday night at Colby High School.

Columbus Catholic is now 12-0 overall and 8-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Colby drops to 4-7 and 3-4 in the conference.

The Dons raced out to a 65-20 lead by halftime to put the game away quickly.

Nick Malovrh had 24 points, Tyler Fuerlinger added 22 and Hunter Schultz chipped in 18 for the Dons.

Columbus hosts Loyal (6-1 Cloverbelt East) on Monday in an important game among conference leaders.
