WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield is sending three participants to the sectional after play at the WIAA Division 1 Boys Tennis Subsectional on Tuesday at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.
Evan Fait at No. 1 singles, the No. 1 doubles team of Jared Cordova and Braedon Corteen, and the No. 3 doubles team of Craig Paulman and Lucas Paulman qualified for the sectional, which will be Wednesday at Eau Claire Memorial.
The top four finishers in No. 1 singles and doubles, and the sectional champion at No. 2 singles and doubles qualify for the 2018 WIAA State Individual Boys Tennis Tournament in Madison on May 31-June 2.
The top team, which accumulates points at both the subsectional and sectional level, will move on to the 2018 WIAA State Team Boys Tennis Tournament on June 8-9 in Madison.
