Hashimoto put Marshfield up briefly with a goal in the 56th minute before Thompson tied it again with a goal at the 62:11 mark. Neither team scored in the final 27 minutes and the game ended in a tie.

Mikayla Brueggen had eight saves in goal for the Tigers.

“It was a tough, physical game and both teams really left it all on the field,” Marshfield coach Steve Lindner said. “Playing four straight games with no practices finally caught up to us as we have had too many injuries and players player somewhat out of position. But, in their defense, their responded well and have done a nice job stepping up.”
