SPENCER – The Auburndale cross country teams swept the team titles at a home triangular meet at Frey Field on Tuesday.
Carl Lundgren won his fifth meet this season in as many tries, taking the boys race in 17:23 to lead Auburndale.
Auburndale swept the top five spots in the boys race, with Charles Jewell second in 18:25 and Gavin White Eagle third in 19:03.
Stratford’s top runner was Lance Krieg, who finished seventh in 19:41.
Auburndale’s Jordyn Karl won the girls race in 20:28, 24 seconds ahead of Rib Lake/Prentice’s Serena Moore. Erricka Zenner was third for the Eagles in 21:39.
Stratford’s Lydia Golbach was fifth in 22:32 and Kressa Wenzel finished sixth in 22:45.
Auburndale and Stratford return to action Oct. 15 at Marathon.
