MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team snapped a two-match losing skid with a 3-0 sweep of Wausau East in Wisconsin Valley Conference action Saturday at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers won 25-15, 25-15, 25-17, to improve to 7-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, maintaining their spot in first place. East falls to 0-9.

Casey Frankland had 14 kills, and Brooklyn Boushack had nine kills and 16 digs for Marshfield.
Taylor Barwick had 19 assists and Brianna Jakobi had 16 assists in the win for the Tigers.
Marshfield will play at Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday before hosting a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal Thursday against the winner of Tuesday’s regional quarterfinal between Wausau West and Wausau East.
