Five former Marshfield athletes run at UW-La Crosse cross country meet

LA CROSSE – Five Marshfield High School graduates competed in the Jim Drew/Tori Neubauer Cross Country Invitational on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Sean Harrington was 22nd, third for UWL, finishing in 25:26 to lead the former Tigers.

Jeremy Berg was 94th, sixth for the UW-Madison Club team, running in 26:34.

The University of Minnesota won the men’s race, with UW-Platteville was second and UW-La Crosse third.

Jenna Southworth, who runs for Winona State (Minn.) was 107th in the women’s race and second on her team, finishing the race in 23:38.

Amy Pawelko took 127th overall for UW-La Crosse, running in 23:57.

Candice Todryk led all of the University of Minnesota Club team runners, taking 148th overall in 24:10.

North Dakota State won the women’s race, with UWL eighth and Winona State 15th.
