MARATHON – The Stratford volleyball team’s season came to an end Tuesday when it dropped a tough five-game match to Marathon in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal at Marathon High School.
Marathon, the No. 2 seed in the regional, beat the Tigers, the No. 7 seed, 25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11, to advance to the regional semifinals against No. 6 Rosholt on Friday.
