SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team opened its season with its home invitational on Tuesday, and dropped all three of its matches.
The Rockets lost to Three Lakes 25-13, 25-6; Athens 25-11, 25-16; and Edgar 25-12, 25-22, 25-22.
Heavyn Kind had seven kills, five service aces and 15 digs, Mallori Barth added seven kills, Alexis Stange had 25 digs, and Hannah Reckner had 11 assists for Spencer.
Other results from the tournament were not provided.
Spencer plays at Stanley-Boyd on Thursday.
