COLBY – Colby swept Spencer in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division volleyball opener for both teams on Tuesday at Colby High School.
The Hornets won 25-12, 25-6, 25-18.
Mallori Barth and Jorie Meyer each had four kills, Alexa Stange had eight digs, and Hannah Reckner had 10 assists to lead Spencer.
Colby hosts Abbotsford in a nonconference match Thursday and both teams will return to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action next Tuesday, Sept. 21, when Colby will play at Gilman and Spencer hosts Owen-Withee.
