Stevens Point defeats Marshfield girls tennis in WVC finale

MARSHFIELD – Stevens Point defeated Marshfield 6-1 in the final Wisconsin Valley Conference girls tennis dual meet of the season Thursday at the Boson Tennis Courts.

Marshfield’s only win came from Sonia Dissanayaka at No. 3 singles as she defeated Kylie Crow, 6-0, 6-1.

The Tigers finish the WVC season with a 3-3 record.

The Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at Wausau East.
