Marshfield Middle School girls tennis stays undefeated with win, tie at Stevens Point meet

STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield Middle School girls tennis team won one match and tied another at Ben Franklin Junior High on Thursday.

Marshfield defeated Rhinelander James Williams 11-3 and tied Ben Franklin/P.J. Jacobs 3-3 in the triangular and is now 9-0-2 in conference play.

A total of 15 girls from Marshfield Middle School played in the two matches: Jasmine Buth, Rhyan Costa, Lexi Freese, Greta Frye, Lilly Griesbach, Maddie Kloos, Audrey Luedtke, Hannah Ridgway, Sophia Rosandich, Sara Sharma, Talia Soskos, Edyn Vechinski, Devin Weis, Katie Winder and Ameia Xolio-Temich.

Marshfield will be back in action at Antigo High School on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. against Antigo Middle School and James Williams Middle School of Rhinelander.
