GILMAN – The Spencer volleyball team was swept on Thursday by Gilman in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division match at Gilman High School.
The Pirates won 25-16, 26-23, 25-11, to move to 2-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Spencer is now 0-3.
Jorie Meyer had four kills and five service aces, Heavyn Kind had a team-high six kills, Alexis Stange had 13 digs, and Hallie Meyer had 12 assists and 12 digs for Spencer.
Spencer will compete at the Abbotsford Invitational on Saturday.
