Spencer girls basketball rolls past Owen-Withee

SPENCER – The Spencer girls basketball team won its fourth-straight game as it used a dominant second half to beat Owen-Withee 56-32 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday at Spencer High School.

Heavyn Kind scored 31 points to lead the Rockets, who are now 12-5 overall and 9-1 in the Cloverbelt East.

Spencer led 24-14 at halftime and outscored the Blackhawks (2-14, 2-9 Cloverbelt East) by 14 in the second half to win going away.

Both teams will play conference games Friday. Spencer will be at Gilman and Owen-Withee hosts Granton.
