Colby outlasts Auburndale in WIAA Division 4 boys basketball regional semifinal

AUBURNDALE – The No. 5 seed Colby boys basketball team outlasted No. 4 Auburndale to win a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal 60-57 on Friday night at Auburndale High School.

Colby (17-7) moves on to a D-4 regional final at No. 1 seed Iola-Scandinavia (25-0) on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.

Auburndale led 31-20 at halftime but wasn’t able to hold on as Colby put up 40 points in the second half to pull out the victory.

Auburndale ends its season with a 17-9 record after winning 16 of its final 19 games.
