Stratford baseball defeats Auburndale for 11th win in a row

STRATFORD – Cam Daul threw a complete game three-hitter to lead the Stratford baseball team to its 11th-straight win, a 9-2 victory over Auburndale on Thursday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.

Stratford busted the game open with a seven-run third inning and improve to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in the Marawood Conference South Division.

Daul struck out eight and walked just one, allowing single tallies in the fourth and sixth innings.

Eight of the nine Tigers in the lineup had at least one hit, with Jack Tubbs and Braeden Schueller each earning three hits and an RBI.

Sloan Welch had an RBI single for Auburndale (6-6, 4-4 Marawood South).

Both teams play nonconference games on Friday. Auburndale will host Prentice and Stratford will play at home against Chequamegon. Both games start at 4:45 p.m.
