MARSHFIELD – Tanner Shortt, Noah Peterson and Tyler Reissman each scored twice as the Marshfield boys hockey team rolled to an 8-2 nonconference win over Northland Pines on Saturday afternoon at the Marshfield Area Ice Arena.

Jacek Mancheski, Shortt and Peterson had goals in the opening eight minutes as the Tigers took a comfortable lead that they built to 6-0 with three more goals in the second period.

Judd Higgins, Reissman and Peterson scored for Marshfield in the second, and Reissman and Short added goals in the third as the Tigers pulled away.

Marshfield (10-9) returns to action Thursday at home against D.C. Everest.
