Marshfield girls basketball cruises past Wisconsin Rapids

MARSHFIELD – Ten different Marshfield players scored as the Tigers rolled past Wisconsin Rapids 58-40 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls basketball matchup Tuesday night at the Chips Hamburgers Fieldhouse at Marshfield High School.

Marshfield cruised out to a 34-19 lead and was able to empty its bench in the second half as it cruised to the home win and improved to 15-4 overall and 7-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Ayana Bousum had 13 points and six rebounds, and Zaida Kolbeck added 12 points, eight steals and five rebounds in the win for the Tigers.

Kristin Radtke had 10 points to lead Wisconsin Rapids (4-14, 2-6 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Marshfield plays at D.C. Everest on Friday.
