Marshfield Junior Legion wraps up Stevens Point tournament with win over Middleton

STEVENS POINT – For the second-straight day, the Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team defeated Middleton 9-7 and ended up with a 2-3 record as the three-day Don Friday Tournament concluded Sunday at Bukolt Park.

Marshfield plated five runs in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed, improving to 3-6 this season.

Bryce Schade had two RBI and earned the save by throwing a scoreless seventh inning for the Junior Devils.

Madden Prybylski and Mason Anderson each had two hits for Marshfield, which finished with 10 in all.

Marshfield hosts Antigo on Monday. Game time at Jack Hackman Field is 6 p.m.
