Columbus Catholic boys basketball rolls to home win over Owen-Withee

MARSHFIELD – Charlie Moore poured in 25 points to lead the Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to a 67-40 win over Owen-Withee in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons rolled out to a 42-15 lead by halftime and were able to finish off the win to remain undefeated this season at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Cloverbelt East.

Mac Konieczny, Lucas Kreklau, Blake Jakobi and Cy Becker each chipped in eight points in the win for Columbus Catholic.

Dominic Sherwood led Owen-Withee (4-2, 2-1 Cloverbelt East) with 14 points.

Columbus Catholic plays a nonconference game at Prairie du Chien on Saturday at 6 p.m.
