WESTON – Marshfield freshman Nadeen Lieberman, and the No. 3 doubles team of Olivia Haessly and Emily Seidel, advanced to the sectionals after winning their matches at the WIAA Division 1 girls tennis subsectional on Monday at D.C. Everest High School.

Lieberman won her opening match at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0, to advance to Wednesday’s sectional at Wausau East.

Haessly and Seidel (15-8) won a pair of matches, the second in three sets against a team from Merrill, to also advance to the sectional. Playing at No. 3 doubles, the duo is unable to qualify for the state tournament.
