MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won four events and rolled to the team title at its home Marshfield Tiger Girls Indoor Track Invitational on Thursday at the Fredrick Construction Fieldhouse at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers racked up 129 points, with D.C. Everest second with 87. Stratford took ninth with 24 points and Columbus Catholic had one point to end up in a tie for 16th.
Hannah Ridgway won the 220-yard dash in 29.54 seconds, Emma Ridgway tied for first in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 10 inches, the 2-mile relay team of Natalie Schmitt, Ava Raab, Carolina Sullenger and Brooke Sternweis in 11:20.37, and the 4×200 relay team of Gracie Ridgway, Emma Ridgway, McKenzie Holm and Ayana Bousum won in 3:03.74 for Marshfield’s wins.
Stratford’s Brianna Sherden won the 60-yard dash in 7.50 seconds and placed second in the long jump with a jump of 15-5½.
Columbus Catholic’s top performer was Jenny Schneider, who took eighth in the mile in 6:50.98.
