AUBURNDALE – Edgar pounded out 11 hits and beat Auburndale for the second straight day, winning 5-3 in a Marawood Conference South Division baseball game Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
Tony Altmann was 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI as he accounted for three of the Apaches’ four hits.
Edgar remains in first place in the South with a 6-0 record, while Auburndale falls to 0-6 overall and in conference play. Auburndale plays at Marathon on Thursday and hosts Pittsville on Friday.
