LA CROSSE – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys soccer team pulled off a major upset Thursday, knocking off No. 1 seed La Crosse Aquinas 1-0 in a WIAA Division 3 regional final at Aquinas High School.
The fifth-seeded Dons improve to 10-9-1 overall and will play Stevens Point Pacelli at 7 p.m. next Thursday at Pacelli.
Aquinas’ season ends with a 16-4 record.
