LOYAL – Logan Fulwiler made a 3-pointer in the final seconds to give Loyal a 56-55 win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Tuesday night at Loyal High School.
Spencer trailed 42-36 after three quarters before storming back with a 19-11 run to take a two-point lead late. However, Fulwiler drilled his only 3-pointer of the game as time ticked down to win it for the Greyhounds.
Steven Gilboy had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Rockets, who fall to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the Cloverbelt East. Jeremiah Cattanach added 14 points, hitting 4 of 9 3-pointers.
Mason Froeba led all scorers with 23 points for Loyal (4-4, 3-4 Cloverbelt East). He added eight rebounds.
Spencer hosts Colby on Friday.
